Indexhibit Support

hello,

I have taken over a site from a friend and after installing indexhibit I get this error when I'm trying my first login (vormen.be/ndxz-studio/).

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_system_abstracts() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/vormen.be/httpdocs/ndxz-studio/index.php on line 33

I've got the feeling that I misplaced/missing a file.
How do I resolve this ?

Indeed - from a quick search on the web I found that it may have to do with missing or broken files.
Try to reupload the ndxz-studio folder.

Do you think it's best that I delete the previous ndxz-studio folder first, to evade any misplaced/corrupt files?

you have your files mixed up. the error is for v2 actually but your folder is for v1. of course it doesn't work...
