I brought my domain name earlier today from domainexpress.com before realising there was such a thing as a web host.
Is it rare to find a free web host? Are there any that anybody recommends?
Is it possible to still use the domain name I brought from domainexpress with a seperate web host?
Is that difficult to resolve?

We've never recommended free webhosts around here. If you need advice along this front the best thing to do is ask your friends for referrals.
And yes, the point of a domain name is that you can direct it to whatever webhost you wish to use.
