Installation Error: XX check config

COrillia / 2014-10-29 17:00:31

Hello,

I am trying to install the new version of Indexhibit. I have installed all files and set the permission to 0777 on the correct files (following the install demo). When I proceeded to sign in to catherinetelfordkeogh.com/ndxzstudio/… and press submit after I have filled out al the correct info (with new database etc...) I get this message: XX check config (xx's are in red) I have checked my config folder and permissions are set and it's in the right place. Could you please advise what I could do next to remedy this error?

Thank you kindly,
my site: catherinetelfordkeogh.com

Check the permissions on the folders, are they correct?

Having the same problem here with the inexplicable "XX check config" message...

Ah, I've solved it - check in with your webhost to make sure the "host server address" category is correct
mine ended up being
"mysql.mydomainname.com"

With my actual domain name in place of "my domain name" of course

Same Problem with Godaddy CPanel

Customer support told me the server hostname was my "shared IP address"?

I entered it as the Server host name and still seeing XX check Config

Bummed :(

Godaddy told me that the issue is with New 5.0 System blocking remote access

The remote access MySQL needs to "white list" the indexhibit IP address
Where do I find the indexhibit IP address to allow Remote Mysql access?

> The "Database Server Address" is in fact the "Shared IP" address in Cpanel.

Solved > Create New User for Db, Delete old user
