Indexhibit Support

I have added the splash plugin from indexhibit.org/plugin/utility/splash-page/

I have customised it and it looks good, but when I hit publish it doesn't appear as a splash page.

I have followed the instructions on the above page (no show format/splash.php theme)

what else do I need to do?

Also - just to add, I was a little confused with the instructions of where to upload the files to my site, which could be the problem

plugin file to plugin folder was easy
but am not sure what is "themes" folder - so i moved both splash.php/.css into the same folder with my style/base etc. templates

You need to have template access enabled and then select it from Page Options for the exhibit you are targeting.

Splash.php needs to be in your theme folder - probably /ndxzsite/default/

It must be the main page of the site - the very first page that a person sees upon arrival.

do you mean I have to select 'make main page' as on in page options for the splash page?

I had understood that the main/home page would be a 'normal' page, which contains index and exhibit.

My question, very simply (for the third time) is: my site is structured by different sections listed in the index. does the splash page need to be placed in any specific section so that it will operate?

Can you tell me where to modify the link on the pre-nav text to change it from going to main and instead going to home?
