Indexhibit Support

What is the difference between Exhibit and Index Link? And why must it always be connected to a section or a project?

I would like to know the best way to form a list on the left hand side by exhibition with links to projects. Thank you! jennifernichols.info/

I would also like them to be separate entities without connecting to each other.

An exhibit link is to something on your site. And Index Link links to something outside of your site - like a Vine account page or something.

They must always be linked to exhibits. But, section pages are special and can not be Index links (but they can be an exhibit if you wish).
