Database workaround with Yahoo host

I am a novice. With that said, called Yahoo and they couldn't help. When I get to the install page, we can't figure out what i need to put in for "Database Server" and "Database Name." Keep getting error msg from indexhibit: "We cannot connect or install the database." Yahoo help asked me to post the following on this forum:

I don't have HT access. Not sure if my user has privileges to write to database. Is there a workaround?

I'm assuming your talking about Yahoo free hosting services?

I'd try one of these other free alternatives that have some limitations (bandwidth, no files over 500kb's) but have MySQL database support: -

Peace.

My experience has been that it will not work with Yahoo. And I have never seen an even remotely decent quality free host anywhere.

D'oh! I just finished canceling my account with Yahoo so i no longer have access. just trying to forget the past 24 hours of frustration and erase any evidence of it. thanks anyway. that's really nice of you to offer.
