Indexhibit Support

we would like to keep everything the same, just change to a new domain name - whats the best way to do this?

This has to do with your host so I suggest to send them an email and ask them how you do this (it's a simple DNS issue)

I thought I would need to update indexhibit database?
Im with mediatemple, can I do the changes myself?
I'm just thinking they would say its outside of their scope of support (third party apps).

...but it's not. It's a simple "domain name to server" redirection issue. Did you email them?

this is what the hosting support said:

You may need to alter some settings with your Indexhibit web application. I unfortunately do not know which settings these would be, though. I strongly recommend consulting the Indexhibit user forums for assistance with this matter.

But this isn't an Indexhibit issue - if you change the domain to work on your current server it will automatically work with your Indexhibit.
