HI
in this news version of indexhibit that had possibility of adding audio into post, there is a little bit issue with playing files, when you having a powerful download manager has ability of download everything.. the original audio file will be download.
but if player support buffering and streaming it's will be solve. . .
in the strahler version it's fine and works well. .
can you suggest any idea for fixing it?

I'm sorry I don't understand very well. There's an issue with audio files or indexhibit?

for the strahler ( that i know you knew him) i mean : strahler70.com/dev/indexhibit/testlab/audioplayer/

That is a Legacy site and not a Version 2 site, which this thread is about.
Indexhibit Version 2 has a built in audio player. You can upload audio as any other media... try it!

Strahler is a great guy. He and I should be banished to a deserted island for some of the stupid things we've done over the years. ;)

sorry, I believe you still not understand my question,
I know in new version (2x) i have possibility of upload audio or any media format, but i have a problem with player u used in this version.
the player hasn't possibility of Streaming audio ( i mean if you have download manager that set on audio download, when you click on play button, the download manager start to download you file) but in another player like strahler version, the audio will streaming so you can not download it.

No, it doesn't download the file - that means something is wrong. Show us the problem...

Can I bump this thread?

I am a little confused as to how to display an audio file within Slideshow? I've uploaded the .mp3 file and given it a cover, but still it doesn't display ... well, anything...

Vaska also mentioned inserting a code into the text area. ??

If there is a relevant thread that I haven't looked at, please feel free to just direct me to it.

Thanks.

Did you click the Insert link in the Exhibit options of your mp3?

adriandilena / 2013-08-29 14:33:49

There is no option for 'insert link'.

I have an option to 'detach image', 'view source file', 'insert image' 'insert file'.

arsondpi / 2013-08-29 15:24:19

Yes - click the Insert file.

adriandilena / 2013-08-29 19:06:17

Thanks for the replies.

When I click insert file, nothing happens. Its as if its a inactive link. No response whatsoever.

well, this is embarrassing. I just found about 2 dozen of the files at the bottom of the rather long piece of text I have in that exhibit.

Sorry for the troubles. But, hey, I love the community support with indexhibit!!!

So many thanks!

A
