Didn't we post some beta Columner stuff around here in the past? I think we did but I can't remember...

It's going to be retired though and replace with a more complete theme that will be easier to work with (it will have some custom #index things).

It should appear in the Admin area but it might not if the permissions are odd - the folder should be 755 and the files should be 644.

I'm sorry I closed the thread but I do that when a thread is really old and has become unfocused. Simply asking the question again is the way to go... ;)

ok, I've tried and change the files permission to 644 and the folder ndxzsite is 755 but still doesn't work....

Do you know when is the new theme coming out and what name will it have?

As for now i might have to use this, to get the website ready.

I don't know - and trying to tell dates about these things never works.

The way Indexhibit works is that any folder you put in the /ndxzsite/ will act as a theme folder - it should be showing up. It's a very simple way of doing things which will only not work if there is something wrong with permissions. Triple check that it's in the right place...

If you send me your FTP and studio login I'll take a look and see what's up. But, not until tomorrow morning...

support at indexhibit dot org

Please confirm that your FTP information works. I spent over an hour today trying to login to help somebody and many different logins and that was a bit much...

you mention any folder on /ndxzsite/ ? I just place the files from inside the folder, will that have anything to do?

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 02:53:34

as for the information, I'm doing it through file manager on bluehost. Not sure if that is ok or you prefer me to create an ftp

Vaska A / 2014-04-03 08:19:29

don't use that - those built-in ftp managers are not reliable. use an ftp app.

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 16:05:06

would the folder have anything to do?

Vaska A / 2014-04-03 16:08:17

which folder? ndxzsite? maybe. make sure it's permission is 755 too...

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 17:30:44

that is done, but when you mention

The way Indexhibit works is that any folder you put in the /ndxzsite/ will act as a theme folder.

I place the files without the folder, not sure if that would cause any issue

Vaska A / 2014-04-03 17:38:25

They need to be in a folder with a unique name.

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 20:53:28

that was the reason!!! I'll let you know if something else comes across

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 21:25:28

Ok, so the theme now works, though I am still wondering how do you manage to do this dusuantou.com/albums/1/

He was able to make a section for the text with his own scroll and add more space to it, he also has the bottons as previous and next

Vaska A / 2014-04-03 22:55:13

With a bunch of customization...

sbeckmann / 2014-04-03 23:37:27

is there a scroll plugin that might work for that? or can you give me some ideas around where are the changes?

Everything would be html, right?

Vaska A / 2014-04-03 23:57:02

It's not even an Indexhibit site...

sbeckmann / 2014-04-07 16:03:28

oh I thought it was, as I saw that website mentioned before on a conversation with the same theme.

This thread has been closed, thank you.
